Burnout is not a personality flaw

If you're burning out, the problem usually isn't you. It's the gap between who you are and the life you're trying to hold together.

Burnout is not a personality flaw

The story we tell ourselves

The first thing burnout takes from you is the belief that it's fixable with more effort. So you push harder, sleep less, and add another commitment to prove you're still you. That's the trap, not the exit.

After 25 years coaching people from the ground up to the C-suite, I can tell you the people who burn out are rarely the ones coasting. They're the ones carrying the most, on foundations that quietly stopped fitting years ago.

Foundations, not willpower

Alignment coaching starts somewhere unfamiliar: with your values, your identity, and what success actually means to you — not what you were told it should look like.

When your work, relationships, health and time line up with those foundations, you can run hard without tipping over. When they don't, no amount of discipline saves you. You'll feel it in your sleep, your temper, and the Sunday-night dread.

A path that holds

Recovery isn't a holiday. It's a rebuild — pace, boundaries and habits you can actually keep, so growth continues without costing you your health or your sense of self.

If that sounds familiar, start with a free call. We'll look at what's out of alignment and whether I'm the right person to help. No pressure, no jargon.
